In this work, the spectral imaging technique, involving the application of a high-energy laser pulse to a nickel sheet, was employed along with the Debye length and the number of particles in the Debye sphere. The results showed that increasing the laser energy from 400 to 800 mJ led to an increase in electron temperature from 0.262 to 0.323 eV, an increase in electron density from 5.00 × 10¹⁸ cm⁻³ to 5.50 × 10¹⁸ cm⁻³, a slight increase in plasma frequency from 2.008 × 10¹³ Hz to 2.106 × 10¹³ Hz, and an increase in the Debye length from 1.699 × 10-6 cm to 1.802 × 10-6 cm. The number of particles in the Debye sphere was significantly greater than one, thus fulfilling the condition for the presence of a true plasma. Statistical analysis using SPSS software was used to confirm the results through descriptive analysis, correlation, and regression. The findings demonstrated that the standard deviation of the plasma parameters was slight, and the correlations confirmed a strong positive relationship between laser energy, temperature, and electron density. In contrast, the Eigen-to-Eigen correlation between Debye length and laser energy was weaker. The regression analysis showed that plasma parameters are strongly dependent on laser energy. In contrast, the Debye length may depend on other parameters.
