In addition to the annual ICAIIT Conference held in Köthen, Germany, the Proceedings of ICAIIT publishes special issues featuring selected papers from international conferences held around the world. For each special issue, the ICAIIT Editorial Board reviews the programme and subject areas of the respective conference and establishes an appropriate set of ICAIIT research topics for organizing the selected contributions. The topic structure may therefore differ in wording from the original topics of the conference while remaining aligned with its research areas and the scope of ICAIIT. A detailed explanation and examples are provided in the Aims & Scope section.

This page lists conferences whose selected papers have been published or are being prepared for publication as ICAIIT special issues, together with the research topics used for each issue.

All papers selected for publication in a special issue undergo double-blind peer review in accordance with the editorial standards, policies, and publication requirements of the Proceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT. Conference papers are reviewed according to the established peer-review procedures and quality requirements of the Conference Proceedings Journal, ensuring that accepted papers meet the required standards of scientific quality, originality, methodological rigor, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Regardless of the subject area of a special issue, the same fundamental scope requirement applies as in the regular issues: an IT-based method, technology, or methodology must constitute a substantive part of the research. Papers from different scientific and applied disciplines may therefore be included when information technologies are used as a substantive research method, technological approach, or enabling tool.
